What is the Best Age to Train with The Arc?
Starting young can be a huge advantage. The Arc offers ski training for the youngest skiers in the family with their signature Tiny Arc (for 4yr olds) and Mini Arc (for 5-7yr olds) programs right through to serious alpine racing programs such as the 4-week Alpine Intensive for young racers aged 10yrs+.
Here’s a quick guide:
Ages 4-7yrs: Tiny and Mini Arc. Focus on fun, confidence building and mountain awareness. Full or half-day programs available.
Ages 8-10: Choose from Alpine Racing (2 or 3-week) or All-Mountain programs. Both will focus on developing strong alpine technique and confidence both inside and outside of race courses.
Ages 11-17: Choose from Alpine Racing (2, 3 or 4-week) or All-Mountain programs. Alpine Racing is focussed especially on Giant Slalom and Slalom (skill level dependent) skills, with training taking place both inside and outside of the race courses. All-Mountain, while still focussing on developing strong alpine skiing technique, will also focus on other skiing disciplines such as Slopestyle and Ski X.
