The Arc offers a range of extra experiences designed to create lasting memories for families seeking more than just ski training for their children. From early morning moments in the mountains to adrenaline-infused of ice rally driving, these activities organised by The Arc's team offer something unique for every family member and a chance to connect with other like-minded skiing families .
Sunrise "Emotion" for the Whole Family
Start your day with a breathtaking sunrise skiing experience that the family can enjoy together. Upload the Tagliede Gondola at 7 AM and ski pristine first tracks until 8.30 AM when a delicious on-mountain breakfast is served at an on-mountain Refuge. Think wide-open, perfectly groomed runs with just you and your family while the sun rises above the Italian Alps. Bellissimo!
Parents Race Training
While the kids are busy training, parents can dial-up their skiing skills with dedicated race training sessions. These sessions focus on technique and speed, providing a fun challenge for adults who want to improve their performance on the slopes and try to keep up with their kids! It’s a great way for parents to enjoy some focused time on the snow, building confidence, technique and speed. Perfect to preparing for The Arc's augural Family Fun Race in January each year!
Ladies Ski Days
Women in the family can take advantage of special Ladies Ski Days. These days focus on building skills and confidence in an encouraging, inclusive environment. It's a great way to meet and socialise while enjoying the slopes in a supportive environment. It’s a chance to build skills, make new friends and enjoy the mountain in a way tailored specifically for women.
Day Trips to St Moritz and Bormio
For parents keen to explore new places, The Arc offers day trips to iconic ski resorts like St Moritz and Bormio. These trips give the option to ski with a local guide, or simply explore the villages on foot. With Bormio's world-famous thermal spas, parents can also choose to visit the QC Terme Bagni di Bormio Bagni Nuovi. These day trips are popular activities and provide the opportunity for parents to enjoy a child-free day with other skiing parents.
Family Farm Visit
Discover life on a local Italian farm! From the pastures to the mountain pastures, enjoy authentic experiences including milking cows, looking after calves and tasting artisinal cheeses and cured meats. This takes place after training to allow families to participate.
This experience offers children and adults a chance to learn about local agriculture and animal care. Kids can meet farm animals, while parents enjoy the peaceful countryside setting. It’s an educational and relaxing break that connects the family with the region’s rural heritage.
Wellness Experience at Aquagrande
Treat yourself to session of pure alpine restoration at Aquagranda, one of Europe’s highest wellness sanctuaries. This private experience for The Arc parents and carers begins with a light, healthy lunch before diving into the Alpine Aufguss Ritual...a sensory journey in the Event Sauna featuring infusions of hand-picked mountain herbs.
The experience concludes with a guided cool-down and a refreshing application of arnica and mountain pine lotion, leaving you perfectly recovered and ready for another day on the slopes.
Italian Wine and Cuisine Tastings
Discover the rich flavours of the famous Valtellina wines that are unique to the region. This intimate tasting experience invites you to savour the unique character of Nebbiolo-based wines, crafted in the heart of Lombardy's alpine vineyards. You will also enjoy tasting the food flavours of the region, which perfectly complement the exquisite wines.
Guided by a local sommelier, you'll explore the region's finest vintages, perfectly paired with artisanal cheeses and charcuterie, also unique to the region.

Family Fun Race
Bring out the competitive spirit with The Arc's augural Family Fun Race. This race invites all family members to participate in a friendly skiing competition. It’s designed to be inclusive and entertaining, encouraging teamwork and laughter. The race creates a lively atmosphere and a sense of achievement for everyone involved.
Fat Biking and Lunch Tour
Follow our e-biking guide on a ride atop the snow on fat bikes - especially designed for riding on snow. You will meander through the forest, mountain roads and find yourself at a secret spot of the Village for lunch!
After a 2hr ride, rest your legs enjoying a delicious authentic Italian lunch in a mountain refugio where you will enjoy mouth-watering local dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. You will then ride back to the heart of Livigno.
Ice Rally Driving
Adrenaline lovers will love the ice rally driving experience. This allows parents and older children with a drivers license try their hand at driving on icy tracks under expert guidance. It’s a unique way to test skills in a safe environment.
Prior to their arrival, registered families receive detailed information about the various experiences available for each program. We encourage families to opt in to the experiences they wish to participate in ahead of time, which allows us to effectively plan and accommodate their preferences. At the end of the program, the costs for these experiences, along with any additional extras are charged to the families.
