Booking a family snow holiday can feel overwhelming, especially in a foreign place such as Livigno, Italy...a place that’s culturally rich and offers some of the best skiing in the Alps. To help you plan your trip smoothly and enjoy every moment on the slopes, this guide shares insider tips on travel, accommodation and securing your child’s spot in The Arc Ski Development Program. Follow these steps to make your Livigno holiday as smooth as a powder day.

Choosing Your Travel Arrangements
When flying to Livigno, you have two main airport options: Zurich or Milan. While Zurich is a viable choice, flying into Milan offers more transfer options and greater flexibility.
Flying into Milan
Milan Malpensa Airport is the preferred gateway for families heading to Livigno. It has frequent flights from many international cities and offers multiple ways to reach the ski resort.
Private Transfer:
To ensure a smooth and direct transfer, reserve a private taxi directly from the airport. Our team can organise this for you, partnering with professional and dependable taxi companies we've collaborated with over the years. You'll be picked up at the airport and driven straight to your accommodation in Livigno. Details about booking private taxis are included in our Information Request Form, which is sent out before the program begins.
Public Shuttle Bus:
The Livigno Express shuttle runs daily between Milan Malpensa Airport and Livigno, with extra services during peak winter times. It’s a cost-effective option and reliable for families. Check their winter timetable and book tickets online in advance to secure your seats.
Tips for Smooth Travel
Book your transfer early, especially during holiday seasons to avoid last-minute stress.
Confirm luggage allowances with your airline, as ski equipment can be bulky.
Besides your child's ski equipment required to take part in the program, think about renting equipment for other family members. Zinermann Livigno offers high-quality ski rentals, which can help reduce your family's travel allowance and makes for smoother transfers.
If traveling with young children, request child seats in advance for taxis or shuttles.
